We (DHS Trojans) seem to always have to face the Mustangs yearly in the playoffs. I find it hard to believe a winless team could even qualify for the playoffs. TSSAA might want to look at perhaps awarding a team from another West Tn 4AA Region with a playoff game in cases like this. Hardly seems fair for someone to make it simply because they are from a small region while other teams who have won games get left at home.

Product of having too many classes. There are 4 and 5 team regions in every class. No region should be under 6 I think.

I agree wholeheartedly but I guess The TSSAA ISall about money. Why dont they do it like basketball, I wonder?

Funny, we never had that problem in the early 80's

3 classes and A LOT less high schools. Those days are long gone tho

I agree whole heartedly with this. Take region 5 for a prime example, they are top to bottom the most competitive region on the west side of the bracket this year. The 5th place team has a 6-4 record and are playing basketball this week. Now they had some easier wins to build their record. They would probably put on more of a competitive 1st round game than some of these sub .500 teams.

yeah I've seen film on east, its most definitely not the team they were last year or the year before when they won state. y'all will probably have your starters sitting after half or mid way through the second qt.
