That was Red Bank’s second game and they were not completely healthy then. To try to use that game as a comparison of how they have been playing lately is ludicrous. Red Bank had a running clock on Smith County. Neither Sequatchie, York, or Upperman did so does that mean Red Bank will automatically win against all of those teams? I am not saying it won’t be a competitive game but you can’t use that as a gauge.

Signal then completely changed their offense at the half. Signal scored on their first drive to open the half and then on a big play the next drive. The game was not nearly as close as the score indicated. Red Bank D has given up some big plays, but most of them have happened when the mercy rule is in effect. Also Calvin Jackson did not play much in the signal games. HUGE difference maker

When the teams you mentioned played Smith their kids had some fight in them. From talking to my friends from Carthage their kids packed it in few weeks ago and was ready for basketball. Using any game is ridiculous. If you know football you know its all about matchups. Who knows what will happen. I just know it will be a competitive gun and fun to watch

Nope those kids was fighting but Red Bank has way too many weapons that they could not stop. Let that be the excuse.

I was at the Smith Co game and the whole 4th quarter was mostly JV, with the freshman QB. Jackson didn't even play much of the 3rd and none of 4th quarter. Infamousfootballfan
It's hilarious that first on the Smith Co vs RB thread they all was saying Smith has played or loss to better teams than RB has played. One guy even said that he didn't see why people think they are so good. I am not for any team personally, but I am all about giving props to good teams. Could it possibly be that RB is just a good team with a good Coach? Now you say oh Smith Co been checked out weeks ago. lmbo!!! Any excuse will due to discredit a team that is not one of your favorites. So was Smith a good team or not?? Because, before they played RB they was said to be good, but now since they got the mercy rule they gave up.

That was my point. You can’t gauge one score versus a team against the score of a different team against said team. I guess you didn’t understand what I meant.

Like the Sequatchie and upperman game everyone said upperman would kill us cause we only beat York by 3. You can’t go off scores.

Beating a bunch of 500 or less teams doesn't show how good you are. Never said Smith Co. Was good just they would probably be one of their toughest opponents to date. Sequatchie plays hard. Not real talented tho. Red Bank should win they definitely have more athletes. But you can't under estimate sequatchies heart. They will play you all out to the final buzzer. Who knows a couple of turnovers Dunlap would pull it off. We will see the winner next Friday.
