At worst we will be 7-3 I'd really like for us to be 10-0 but that will be really difficult this year. I believe your H20 game is the equivalent to our Rockwood and Oneida games. They usually field some competitive teams. Although it seems Watertown just recently became a good football team from memory. But in 18 they were definitely a good football team to be sure.

This Portland team got anything for you guys you think?

They are old rival from the early 2000’s they use to be a region game. I really don't know but they usually give TC a challenge. I really don't think TC will be tested until the playoffs besides from Friendship Christian they were runner up in the state in Div II lower classification.

Was thinking you all said H20 would drop off this year. They still going to be decent?

Not as good as last year, but I would still say decent to above average. Will likely finish 2nd, i'm expecting a 7-3/8-2 season for them. Lose their best player but overall depth will help from having a huge dropoff. Losing Price will make a huge difference no matter what people want to think.

Yes sir, could make a difference but I doubt it, if everything turns out well, the jackets will be hard to stop and hard to score on.

I know alot of your people expect us to meet in the playoffs again this year. You think you will be better than last year?

Offensively as a whole yes, defensively probably not but they should balance out. And Portland will likely be 2nd/3rd best team we play, their QB Caleb Mandrell is back, last years stats: 216 rushes, 1,488 yards, 23 TDs; completed 41 passes for 399 yards and 2 TD, FC will likely be best team we play then either Macon or Portland and then H2O. MC, Portland, and H2O will all be very close to same.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
