STONE MEM vs cumb co.

Refs didn't cost CC the game.  I've talked to several CC fans that said, "game strategy" &  "Frustrated CC guards jacking up 30 ft. airballs cost them the game".  CC should have been 10+ points better than WC in Crossville, but they obviously weren't.  Both teams played without one of their starters due to an injury.  Dodgen is a pretty sharp coach.

Refs did a fair job last night at CCHS vs WC. It was a very good game. And I would never fault an official for making a mistake, all do we are human BUT when one goes in a game with the outcome already determined now that is a problem.

Thank you for reinforcing my last statement to the previous poster.

This thread is a cross between Jerry Springer and the Steve Wilkos show.   :D   Lets all just settle down.   Everyone needs to grab a pencil and circle Feb 5 @ 6:00PM on our calendar.   Thats when Stone and CC play again.  I think that game will be well worth the price of admission.   I think Cookeville plays Wareen that night but I think I may just have to travel down I40 to watch that game.  I am just gonna sit back :popcorneater:  :roflolk:.  In all seriousness that is a heavy weight fight and will be another good game.   Both teams are really good.  Let the kids settle it on the court and enjoy the game.

I will definitely be going to this game. The entertainment in the stands will be better than the game.

CC fans must have been pretty bad at the White Co. game Tuesday night, because some of their fans/parents posted apologies on Facebook yesterday for the way they acted.  Jerry Springer show was evidentially in full effect.  I heard there were multiple adults not only harrassing and cussing the refs, but also making derogatory comments towards WC players.  That's about as low class as it gets.

Who did you hear from?  I was there, didn’t hear one profane word from cchs side. Certainly not any aimed at the players.  There is not a nastier or more vulgar fan base or student section in Tennessee than stone memorial high school. The student section uses more profanity than a construction crew, and yells “ ref you suck” after every call they don’t like. I’ve heard the words they’ve yelled at players.  At home and on the road.  I didn’t hear that from somebody, I’ve been in that gym many many times and heard that myself.  Also,  as low class as it gets, is when your granddaughter tries to intentionally hurt players. That too, I have seen on multiple occasions. As I’ve said to you before, clean your own house before criticizing some one else’s. Envy is a cruel master.  Jealousy is unbecoming on a teenager, but just plain ugly on a woman your age.

This sounds serious. How many girls has she injured in her career?

The crowd issue is serious too, how many students get tossed each game for cussing at refs?

I'll be on pins and needles waiting for the numbers you release to back up these very serious accusations.

Woah, woah woah.... how dare you assume the gender of a fellow poster from these boards based on the color of his/her name. It is 2019 bud - - men can be pink panthers too! Go get some culture. It’s people like you that have ruined our town and make us a laughing stock to surrounding communities.

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
