I have no idea what Watson was like before getting to Gallatin but we all have been impressed with him here.  He has built a really good staff and discipline and toughness have changed for the better in my opinion.  I like where things are headed.

Oh I think he will bring Gallatin up to do big things. When we faced NE last year they was technically 8-0 and blowing teams out. I dont know much at all about Coach Watson I'm just not a NE fan! Lol but I will be rooting for your guys against Beech this year

He will have more capabilities at Gallatin than Northeast.  Financially and support wise anyway.  The staff, like I said, is pretty good and they are mostly young and hungry.  Kids are really taking to him too.  I was impressed with the scrimmages.

It was done a few years ago.  Gallatin brought a good crowd to Henry Co just to see them get demolished.  Henry Co came to Gallatin the next year and the crowd was not as big but the game was very exciting and close.  The last two scheduling cycles, Gallatin has chosen to play games that are close to home and bigger schools.  The gates have been good to offset the metros we have to play in region.  I personally love the one long road trip game and Henry Co is a top place to watch a game.

On on a side note, I think a team from Memphis will emerge as a top ten team before all is said and done.

I loved the two years we played! You are right one of those Memphis teams will be in the top 10. My guess would be Ridgeway or Kirby.

    • That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.
    • 1st round exit?        For real ?!?!?!                     Oh wait.....    are we talking band or football?
    • Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
    • Their feeder programs are in the best shape they've ever been.
    • The definition of what happened to the ex-coach is ambiguous. The school said they were going in a different direction and thanked her for her service as coach. Apparently, coaches in Warren County operate on one-year agreements of some type. Rumors are that she was asked to resign, and refused. Whatever happened, it appears that the school system did not renew the one-year agreement with the ex-coach to come back for another season. One and done tenure as coach. Stotts has been a guidance counselor at the high school in Warren County. Several years ago, the former girls coach who is now an AD and assistant principal dismissed Stotts from his staff on the first day of the season. That reality made the hiring of Stotts a mystery to many people in Warren County.
