A two point conversion doesn’t win that 2017 game for me. So I’ll go with the roll of the dice and say we probably win 3 years in a row if we played full games. Either way, Beech better figure something out on offense or it’ll be a long year.

They should be able to run it down most people throat.   They won’t play many teams with MJ’s defensive ability.

Maybe, but I’m not even sold on MJ yet, offensively I’m a little worried. Also the fact we lost around 10 playmakers from last years squad worries me.

I think your sandbagging a bit.   I am hearing they may be pretty good again this year.  And Beech is preseason #1 in 5A.   That is two good squads going at it on Saturday.

I’ll tell you one thing, the “MJ doesn’t play anyone” argument is put to rest this year, With Hville, Lebanon, Gallatin, Oak Ridge, Stewart’s Creek I don’t see that being a “cake walk”.

It only became a thing bc your HC made a blantant attempt to save his job by scheduling his way to a 10-0 record. Can't pat yourself on the back when 2 of the teams listed are in your own region. Why you lump Stewart's Creek in with the rest is beyond me. But yes, good on MJ for finally putting together a schedule that resembles a power 6A program

Your sarcasm needs work, Oakland should worry about their schedule this year, they struggled mightily with Gallatin.

Scrimmaged CR, McCallie, BA as well and had no problem. I think we'll be just fine. When MJ schedules an elite team like Maryville then you might have a leg to stand on

We will see those teams in the playoffs, no need to schedule them.

It’s pathetic that it’s 2019 and we can’t get proper score updates, stats, news reports, etc..... for high school football.

Tell me about it!!  Once the big papers took over the small hometown ones it destroyed everything.  Gallatin still has a local paper but it has a smaller reach than the old one.   Social media has also helped kill the newspapers.   Granted there are new outlets for information but they are unreliable.
