I think Houston runs away with this one. If you cant win a game that you had 4 takeaways in, then its gonna be really tough against a team that likely wont have that many turnovers if any. Houston has managed to put together another really good offensive line that is going to make that run game tough for anyone to stop.

I think the Houston run game has Central's attention. Pare is pretty darn good. This may open up the passing game and put Central in a bind. Can they stop both? I don't think they will get 4 turnovers this week. If Houston can shut down the Central run game, I don't think they pass well enough to stay in the game. I think Houston wins. We shall see.

1. If Houston's run game doesn't have Central's attention, then something is wrong at Central.

2. Pare is freaking awesome.

3. Central probably won't get 4 turns.

4.  Central hasn't shown that they can pass the ball effectively.

All around a good analysis in my opinion. I concur.

What is your over/under for this game?

@TrenchDawg, I'm just curious. Have you seen Houston up close and personal?

I like Houston's RB Pare, and because of that I'm thinking Houston in a close one.

I've been hearing about Pare but haven't seen him in action yet but saw he had 43 carries last week, so basically they got another Abe Felix back there carrying the load

    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
