Yeah, he had a great game. I'd just like to see him in the backfield more. It just gives him more opportunities to touch the ball in my opinion. But he&*, what do I know? I'm just a fan on a HS message board ha. This is what us fans do. We think we have all the answers, when really we don't know jacksh&* lol

Hey SS,

They don't call me the Brain on CoachT for nothing! I be all, know all, see all and have never been wrong on CoachT. If you don't believe me.....just ask me.

I was SHOCKED when I looked up and saw a 14-7 score in the third quarter because West should have dominated the game.  The OR defense battled but the offense lacks any real punch other than Jackson. But the OR was going against the best defense they'll see all season, mark it down. OR must get the ball to Jackson 15-20 times a game, Johnson 10 times a game, Romano 10 times a game, and Stewart a few times. There is no speed there but that's the best OR has.

This is not directed at Bonkers because just about everybody has been saying the same thing about the Offense. I don't say you all are wrong but I see it a little differently....

The Offense, except the line, is mostly new this season. Very little experience on Friday nights. This has caused them to be off and on from week to week. They had put two weeks of good football together against CCHS and FHS but WEST is a beast on Defense. I hope to see OR go back to improving on Offense this week.

My hope is when the season is over we will see that from Week One to Week ?, the O showed improvement.

As I said previously, Coach Gaddis has been coaching 49 years but has only won one state championship at Oak Ridge. He has had excellent talent to work with but still has not won. He and the entire coaching staff need to go! All of you keep making excuses for the team when the real problem is Coach Gaddis!

The team doesn't need excuses made for them. They work hard and that is enough for me. The coaches work hard and that is enough for me.

He is an athlete with a strong vertical - he gave your receivers fits all night - as did much of the secondary.  That snag should have told you something about how throwing 50/50 balls at him is going to work out for you.  You had over 30 passing attempts for a total of less than 80-90 yards - so you averaged less than 3 yards per attempt.  How big of a liability was he on D?  Surely some of those 30 pass attempts should have exploited him.  He was there at corner all game so how many times did ANY of your receivers get open or snag on him?  Again - that’s not much of a game plan.

I know him personally! He’s a great athlete but don’t overdue his vertical! He dominated and before knew he was a threat and speedster, but Johnson caught balls all night on him just was short yards! 12 made plays it’s just that simple. You’re arguement isn’t good because basically you’re saying if tee Higgins was playing you wouldn’t throw it up due to the fact 12 caught jump ball on our dbs?  You have to throw it up SIMPLE! That’s definitely not my game plan to attack him so I can agree with you there. My only argument opposite is that I trust couple jump balls to go in oak ridge favor that’s just my take

Man you know less football than anyone on this board. If you had ever been a lineman, you would know that lining up against a man 50-100 pounds heavier than you takes a cumulative effect on you (please look up the definition of cumulative because it's obvious that you don't get it). It's different when you're fresh in the beginning of the game and even in the second quarter. I didn't say big linemen meant you would win every game...smh.  You're embarrassing yourself!

It’s clear you never played football! You think big line equals automatic wins or the difference in winning and losing every game! Lmao bye

You don’t know anything about Oak Ridge football. Emory Hale won many games against bigger and faster teams. And he won 3 championships. Talk to some of the former football players at Oak Ridge and they will say the same thing.

See that’s the problem people who didn’t play have no idea I don’t get why I’m explaining myself to cat about lineman he clearly never played!

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
