SGC is probably the most humble 1 seed in the state. They're probably the most underrated team in the state as well. To borrow  a cliche from Dabo Swinney, they've been on the ROY bus all year. You know they're not Alcoa or PC or anything special like that...just one of the rest of y'all 3a teams from region 7. Of course, if they make it though to see PC or Alcoa, better watch out because they will be the most battle tested team on the field.

Thanks for your kind words Iron.

These are bunch of kids that simply bring it all every single game. They are going to be a tough out for whoever they face along the way.

SGC got the hardest route to the semis. Covington, then Milan.  Fortunately, they are all going to be at home. No long boring drives to Covington!

You mean that you were not impressed by the bustling metropolis that is Covington? We are big time. We even have drive-by shootings and such.

sgc - 54

Sheffield - 6

Safe travels home Knights! You guys were good sports! I was expecting to see some nastiness out there but did not see one drop of it.

Good luck next season.

SGC will host Covington this coming Friday.

You know, I picked the score For this game earlier in this thread at 55-7 (48 point spread). Now you report an actual score of 54-6 (48 point spread). I always thought I might be a prognosticator.

I am now establishing a hotline you can call to get the latest point spreads.  Covington fans get the picks for free. All others can get a season membership for only $5,000. Send cash or a good check to Man of Millions and he will get it to me. Members will receive their info via ESP each week.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
