McKamey could not get it done at Clinton. Why would he be a good fit in Knox County School system. That guy has a resume of winning at Grace because they played in 1A with public schools. Come on now. Let’s be real.

Let’s Be real ;  Clinton ....... Carter, I’ll say he could do somethings at Carter .  Most Clinton athletes go to OR, Carter peeps stay at Carter .  I’ll say he could do a thing or 2

Did you not watch the stat championship games?

Clinton has a community as well. Win games and have a good product on the field and I bet kids would stay at Clinton.

Carter kids have been leaving because they can’t keep a coach. State champs Central and Alcoa have benefited from that. Didnt AE get a couple players from there too?

A community that truly supports and loves their school comes out and supports the team regardless. I lived in Clinton my whole life and the support for athletics just isn’t very good. Randy literally had nothing to work with talent wise and it will be the same story for the next coach. Unfortunately, nothing is changing in Clinton anytime soon for us and until our community can stop being so political and running every coach off nothing will ever change. It’s not hard to notice that we have 4 serious problems.

 

1. Central Office

2. Collette/Tipton

3. Zero athletes 

4. Unrealistic expectations in the community

Yes, they got 1 player from Carter but that’s not because of the coaching at Carter and I’m going to stick to my saying , “because you played football in a certain YOUTH organization doesn’t mean you are entitled to go to that high school!”  Quit saying this team has this team players, heck all the KCS teams have AE players if you want to be real !
