Add scholarship offer from Ave Maria in FL to the mix, NAIA program.

Add another offer this one from Kalamazoo College in Michigan.

There is a picture on Twitter of LB Cole Adams and QB #1 Mitchell Gibbons and they are both jacked. Kendall Jackson is also ripped. If the whole team is working as hard then keep grinding grinding and grinding. 5A is gonna have to deal with a strong nasty Pack of Wildcats.

Freshmen Football begins in Oak Ridge.

RWR!

GRIND GRIND GRIND !

The Robertsville Rams went undefeated last season. Didn't they have two really fine skill players? Is Jefferson sending any players who may play some on Friday night. Thanks for any responses.

They did have a few good athletes and a couple that seemed VERY GOOD! It's a good thing because Jefferson had little to nothing.

It seems to go in cycles. A few years ago the cupboard was completely bare @ Robertsville. In OR’s heyday, both feeder programs were top notch. Need to get that back.

You're exactly right but I'm not sure how to make that happen. Easier said than done!

For sure. I don’t think there’s any man-made way to get it done really. The problem is, is OR just doesn’t have as many kids as we used to. The HS has gotten a lot smaller in terms of numbers from just 20 some odd years ago. Just need more families and more reasons for people to wanna live here and raise a family.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
