Sorry Barn, l asked a question without giving you the main clue. I should have just stated the QBs name to try and make my point instead of trying to make people believe the wing t can be an offense for any team, especially one with a talented QB. Although the Wing T in not what you would call a QB oriented offensive style/system, a good QB can still thrive and reach his potential in the wing t. The example l was going to mention was Chad Pennington. He played for Webb School of Knoxville. He also played as a starting QB in the NFL. I don't know what other QB from the Knoxville area has played in the NFL in recent years, maybe decades. Also Andy Kelly that played at UT. He played at Rhea Co. And they were a wing t team. You can throw the ball out of the wing t also. If the QB coach/OC knows how to run a passing offense you can still be a wing t team.
