BA did not dominate LA as was predicted. Closer game than expected .

Why doesn't this game count? Some other  schools scrambled to replace 1st week cancellations and their games counted.  No playoff i.implications.

It was a lose but very competitive game. BA made big plays was the Dilference.

It was a non-region game for Lipscomb, so to that end it didn't count in the region standings.

But the non-region games most definitely come into play on tiebreakers.

Here's a link to the BA broadcast of the game. I've met their broadcast crew a few times, good guys. They had some interesting info about the history of the Lipscomb/BA rivalry in the pregame.

BA kicker #30 was quite the pickup for the Eagles. Really strong leg. Opening kickoff in rainy/wet conditions and he blasted it five yards deep into the end zone.

On the history, did they tell about Flatt ordering a cheap shot on a certain Lipscomb player whose dad happened to overhear the convo as a member of the chain crew and didn’t sit by quietly?? Think that was the 89 game.
