We open things up it b a big w. They secondary suspect at best. Try to keep grinding it out it prolly b close but we where em down. 38-20 if we pass. 21-14 if not. Dont  see em losing either way

So far Dyer County has looked to be a pretty run heavy team through the first 2 games. Their senior leader Josh Stewart has been destroying their first 2 opponents running the ball from the QB position. He has threw some passes but that's not the main threat by any means. Their new stud RB I believe is a Sophomore and he seems to be the real deal. It will be interesting to see how he does against a good physical Henry County defense. So far Dyer Countys defense has been pretty good so it will be interesting to see how good are they? I think our key is to pound the rock, and take shots deep down the field!

I know I said no trash talk but for the ones interested. Henry County has dominated 14 out of 16 quarters with Dyer County. Let that sink in lol.

Man have you seen the rankings? They have DC even above BEECH.  that 2 and 0 record against powder puff teams must look good to someone.  So far it has bitten them every regular season game against a real football team like HC

Yep just saw that. If anyone thinks Dyer County is better than Beech they no nothing about football. Beech is a monster this year and that's facts. We lost by a TD to Beech.

Like coach Counce says that's why we schedule the tuff teams for the out of region games.  Keeping within 1 score of beech says a lot to me. And a win against Haywood.   We lost to both last year and still had our way with DC on week 3. And our talent pool only opens up after this year and the next. Hopefully next year the season is back to normal.  (Scrimmages and jamboree) plus all the practice we missed. Also hopefully someone slips a bug in coaches ear about Norman Duncan

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
