Wow.........Almost left at the end of the 3rd. Oh, how I wish we would throw on first down just once in a while. Would open things up sooooo much. Nothing like back seat coaching, right?   LOL!   GREAT COMEBACK EAGLES!

You’re right it wasn’t close he was definitely in bounds...

Can’t blame the refs on this one....

WV seems to still be learning how to win. 2 close games they have lost where they had big leads. I expect them to start finishing those games as the season goes on.

Miss Rhea being on our schedule.

Hey CBRF. Yes,Walker Valley has an excellent team this year. They have the same type of athletes they had a few years back, but the coaching is much improved on both sides of the ball. WV had control of this game early in the fourth and Rhea was fortunate to get the high snap and safety to get in position for the comeback. However, that’s part of the game, you play for the breaks and make the most of them and that’s what the Eagles did.

Proud of these young Eagles for never quitting and finding a way to win. Lots of potential for this group over the next few years. 

Also miss the Cleveland/ Rhea games.

Somebody needs to make those games happen again or Rhea can move up to 6A lol

Thanks Mojo, that was a tough one for WV to lose. I know there is no such thing as a “moral victory” but you got to feel good about the way the Mustangs are playing now they just have to learn how to close out these big games. I think they are heading in the right direction.
