Not a lot of options, but they could give Dave Meske a call over at Webb. They have an open date that week, and they only have 9 games scheduled currently.

After 3 tough opponents to start, I could see a bit of a let down for Powell this week. That said, this won't be close.

GWAVE just informed me that Gallatin needs a game on 9/18. That would be a tremendous matchup!

Only thing that will be interesting to see is, when Coach Lowe calls of the dogs.  lol  If he lets the ones play into the 3rd quarter.  Powell QB may pass for 10 TD and 500 yards.  lol

Chill :rolleyes:. I would hope the mighty Panthers could beat up on Karns....

I had to make this post.  Cause if you look around the message boards.  Every game thats posted has comments on it like "going to be close", "should be a good one", "going to be a tuff game".....lol  Just thought it was pretty funny.  lol

Ya wonder who all has an open date next week?   Im sure coach Lowe is currently looking to play whoever.  That is one good thing about Lowe....He will play anybody.

Not many teams with a bye week next week who aren't already playing 10 games. I know Daniel Boone is off next week, but they already have 10 games.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
