The formula is there - Powell is very weak up front, and Karns has taken advantage. That sustained drive kept Powell's offense off the field for about 8 min too.

Powell has scored on 3 of their 4 possessions, but holding Powell to just 4 offensive possessions in a half has to be a win for them.

Powell wins 43-7. Karns did a pretty good job of holding the ball, but they just couldn't do enough offensively.

It was an ugly game imo. Powell wasn't very sharp

I figured after those first three opponents that they might have a letdown. They definitely weren't as sharp offensively.

I need to know from powell fans. Is adarius content with his rankings and that’s it? He doesn’t seem interested! His routes don’t seem encouraging and he subs himself out as if he doesn’t care.. what do you guys think?

Yeah, I don't like the body language that I've seen, and it will be interesting to see if things change at all. Powell has a bunch of quality WRs, and he isn't getting the bulk of the targets. This might be a hot take, but right now, he looks like a "me first" player, while the other WRs (Faust, Greene, Collins, Magdos, etc) are much more team oriented. You can see that in how they celebrate and cut up on the sidelines. 

He's young, so I'm hoping that will change in time. I remember when Darel Middleton started as a freshman, and I saw his enthusiasm plummet (and laziness skyrocket) as he got older. Here's hoping we don't see that happen.

So Powell's weakness is their defensive line and linebackers?  In the future, a team with a big offensive line and good running game would be able to shorten the game on Powell and limit Powell's offensive possessions? 

Because I'm sure that's what teams will try to do in the future.

You nailed it. Although, the linebackers are pretty solid, they just get hung out to dry a lot with the lack of line play.

Beech is the blueprint to beat a team like Powell, but they just turned the ball over way too many times in week 1. There are three teams left on Powell's schedule that will give the Panthers a lot of problems because they can't stop runs between the tackles without overloading. OR, West, and SD are all built to destroy that defensive line. 

Matt Lowe has done one thing to at least slow the bleeding. They rotate a ton of guys in their front seven, and that has at least helped keep guys fresh. They will even go back and forth between 3-down and 4-man fronts. They're just trying to find something that works at this point.

Sounds Very very similar to a guy from Bradley who is no longer a part of the team.
