Bruceton @ Perry County

The Vikings are coming off a much needed bye week and have not been playing well since their win on the road at Hickman County on September 11th. Bruceton is coming off a shocking 18-13 loss to Wayne County this past week at home. The Vikings are back home and it's the last home game of the season. The Vikings playoff hopes are still alive, but they have to beat Bruceton, Wayne County and  Middleton. It's a tall task because after this friday's game, they are on the road for the final three weeks of the season (@ Huntingdon, @ Wayne County, @ Middleton). If the Vikings Offensive Line can play like they did the first three weeks of the season, this team can put up the points. But the turnovers and penalties have been the biggest thing that has hurt them. We will see if this team wants to have a chance to make the playoffs. It all starts friday against the Tigers. Thoughts?

I think this will be another close game for PC. I have read that the Tigers have a good defense they held the mustangs to 6 I believe. Good luck to you guys hope y’all pull out a W.

Sounds like Friday night may be raining all over the Tennessee River Valley. Taking care of the ball will be crucial for the Vikings to have a chance at the end against the Tigers.

Bruceton is tougher than you guys think the Vikings better come out and play a complete game if they want the win here. I don't know if the Vikings can play 4 quarters without coming apart .

This game has been pushed up to Thursday, October 8th due to possible inclement weather on Friday. Either way, this is going to be a very tough game for the Vikings because this will probably be the best defense they faced all year until this point, plus the last couple of games they have only put up 14 points combined against two teams whose defense is not as good as Bruceton's.

That's my opinion. I watched Perry Co and Collinwood play. Vikings hung in there for a while, but Collinwood blew em out in the 2nd half. 

Watched huntingdon play Bruceton. While huntingdon made a lot of mistakes in that game, Bruceton held tough and didn't give the Mustangs ANYTHING. Their defense is very strong. And, in other games, they have shown they can score some points if the other team doesn't have a great defense. 

Bruceton has a few playmakers. Outside of 1 or 2 guys, Perry Co has nothing. The cupboard is bare over there.
