No reason OS shouldn’t win this game. Coalfield has not played a game in 3 weeks. That’s a long time without real contact. Oliver Springs has greatly improved since that first game and to improve you have to play.

I'd say we are doing a little contact in practice but your right about not playing in three weeks and that is bit of  a concern.  We have started off slow in every game this year.  Every time you step on the field it is a chance to improve whether it be practice or a game.  Oz has a pretty good team and I'm just hoping we can hang around this Friday.

I hope this is a win for os but I also want a clean competitive game. These boys have known each other for years they are friends family and let's face it enemies. My wish is covid stay away and level heads prevail for each team and each coaching staff field the best team possible for the 2 unbeaten region foes. Good luck and go bobcats

Unbeaten for region only lol. I would always rather play a game than take one or give one. It was a rough start for os at 0 and 4 this year but I believe we are better for it. We are a much improved team from that loss to William blount and now. Tomorrow night will tell alot for both teams

I hope Coalfield beats their eyes shut. OS is the biggest school in the region and haven't won a thing since they have been in it. I am just glad the reigning 2 time region coach of the year finally got a victory over Greenback. If I was coach Henry I would have protested the year before last.

LOL!

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
