I blame us more than the refs but they didn’t help for sure. We gave them some points and they earned some points.

what made you think they would have trouble defending Union city ?  I sure didn’t think they would have trouble

That week was when we started getting injuries and had some guys that hadn’t much meaningful varsity start playing, so it can take time to have new guys in some spots to get the feel going. The INT before half shouldn’t even have happened as we should’ve just ran the clock out for the half. I do agree the refs were terrible that game. We didn’t play our best and had the refs call some horrendously bad calls that game. I’d assume #7 will run more for McKenzie against us if we meet in the playoffs

If you go back and break our film down McKenzie had 1 earned score, 1 score on our corner out of position and a pick 6. Then we had multiple TD’s called back. McKenzie did not defend the run against Trenton very well, add the miss direction in with it and this is what made me know that they would have trouble against UC.

We had a couple on the D line. That was the week Wilfork started not playing. We were kind banged up
