Both teams enter the contest at 7-1 Overall and both are unbeaten at 4-0 in the Region and will be at HOME when the playoffs begin in 2 weeks.  Fairview has only allowed 28 points in 4 region games this season.  Stewart County has only allowed 27 points in 4 region games this season.  The environment in Dover is sure to be cranked up many notches on Friday night.

I hope it is rocking Friday night.  Taking a look at the box scores, it appears Stewart Count had to play their starters until close to the end of the games.  Fairview pulled their starters after the first drive in the 3rd.  It does not appear that Stewart County has played anyone decent outside the region.  They played a lousy East Hickman team and somehow lost.

Watching the videos of SC, it appears they have a big tall WR and a decent QB.  Outside of that, I don't see much.

Stewart County is having quiet the season, i say rebels by 3 to finish the job

theyll lose to Harpeth in the second round (Or East Nashville in the first)

They are on the rise and are better than Fairview, Camden, PC and Giles County

While I will say that Stewart County has improved over the last couple of years compared to where they were, Fairview could put their Head Coach Chris Hughes at QB and still win this region.  His flag football contests have more physicality than every team they play in the region, especially all those Cheatham County schools.

So I'd definitely pump the brakes on talk saying that Stewart County is better than Pearl-Cohn, Giles County, or Fairview.  When you consider that Fairview has whipped them every year since they've been in the same region, with every game being decided by at least 2 scores, most of the times by a whole lot more, we don't even belong in the same sentence, unless the sentence is stating we are better,

who is this guy? Pump the breaks on what? We are obviously the class of 3a football by god. To be the champ we have to beat the champs. That will happen this Friday night in the great city of Dover. Then we will worry about the chumps from Pearl-Cohn. CatfishHunter “we” don’t belong in the same sentence? You’re  not apart of rebel football or are you? Talk smack about my mighty rebels again and I’m gonna have to smack the taste right out your mouth. Your entire take is hot garbage. I rather hear Stephen A. Smith talk about my cowboys then hear that absolutely insane and pathetic stuff you just typed. Not to mention I heard Hughes wasn’t even the best QB on his own staff. Rebels by 28.

Everybody in the region is a Stewart County fan this week.  I hope they beat Fairview even though one of our old coaches from Cheatham is coaching there now.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
