Bama has so many elite recruits he can afford to sit them and develope them. They know its just a matter of time when the NFL comes calling. Most teams don't have that luxury.

I don't think Dale was that fond of Tennessee in the first place considering his love for Bama. Tennessee looks like they are going to rake Jeremy over the coals, and I'm not sure how that is going sit with Dad, no matter how thick his skin is. This will likely speed the process up of him going back home despite the possibly bright future for the next couple of years. 

 

As for Jeremy, he will be on the sidelines this year when the season kicks off wearing the rivals colors. Also, this is just my two cents but the man can coach football. Not every man is cut out to be the top dog. See Will Muschamp and Charlie Strong as good examples.

Coach Pruitt has at least a couple more years at MC. He will be vested in TN then. He's coaching with one of his best friends currently and when the job came open last year he jumped at the chance to come back and loves it here. 

You're right about not everyone is cut out to be a HC and it may have been too big of a job to cut his teeth on. Depends on what the NCAA hands down on disciplinary action as to what sideline CJP is standing on. He may be on the sidelines watching dad win his 300th game next season.
