Never too early, Coaching Vacancies

Coaches are already retiring, stepping down, and have made announcements that they will not be returning. What jobs are available across the state?

Northcut at TCA is leaving at the end of the school year. Based on what I've heard they already have someone tabbed for that job, but don't have it solidified yet. 

I've heard a couple of whispers about other coaches either on the move or being let go, but at this point is mostly gossip.

Wonder how quick some will be let go? Hearing some talk in that may give it up at the when the season is over.

Hearing Dexter Williams (former Liberty state championship coach) to TCA is a done deal and that word is officially getting around. Will be a big get for them. He has a son who is really talented that will be a freshman next year, and has a lot of AAU connections that will likely bring talent in. Could see a big flip in the program overnight. 

Should also add another good player to their girls team, as he has a daughter that is a Junior. Added depth at the guard position.

If this is true TCA could not have made a better hire.

Huge hire for sure but they will still be facing an uphill climb state wide. 

Don't forget about teams like Goodpasture, CPA, Knoxville Webb, Notre Dame, FACS, ECS, Tipton Rosemark, etc... 

All these teams are Division 2 Class A because Division 2 did not change anything with classifications

Like I said, huge hire. Great and proven coach. But it is an uphill climb.

Somewhat incorrect. CPA moves up to AA in all other sports except football due to enrollment. Much like Lipscomb did already. The "Roller Rule" still protects both of them in football.

CPA must have been very close to the cut off. They don't have that many students.

CPA moving up does down grade the state competition for sure. but still a lot of established programs to overcome.
