What is the TSSAA rule on moving from public to private and with a parent working for the private school?? She immediately elgible at TCA?? Big pickup for TCA. Public to Private isn't usually a big deal. Especially when the parent gets a job in the private school. Private to Public is very hard unless their is a move (legit move like Memphis to Dyersburg not just across town) or there has to be a hardship. An example, we had a kid that played private in Memphis before coming to my public school in Shelby County. His father lost his job and could no longer afford private tution. Probably won’t be a change of address with both schools being that close unless they had too. I didn’t know the rule on it. She is a good player and I think it will be good for her having a fresh start. TCA is a really good program. As others said, eligible as long as the parent is moving as a faculty member, no change of address needed. Will be a good move for her. She needed the fresh start. Really good, smart ball player that will thrive under Coble. Pretty sure she has played AAU with Lee and Goehring in the past, too. So they'll already have some chemistry. I have seen her play a bunch and I do believe the change of schools will get her confidence back. She played a bunch her freshman year and played well. Didn’t know that was a TSSAA rule that if your parent had a faculty move you didn’t have to have a residence move. Makes sense but I didn’t know that. She will help Trinity a lot. Give them a good productive post or two and they will be really good.
BallIsLife1
His daughter definitely fits TCAs style of play and I do believe it's true that she has played AAU with many of those girls. Dexter is a stand up guy with state championship winning experience. Great hire by TCA! I'm interested to see the players he draws in. His son will be a freshman and he is pretty good. Both daughter and son will be eligible next season.

Needs to put some muscle on his frame, but has all the skills you'd want coming into high school. He'll make an immediate impact as a freshman. I think you could say that about a lot of younger basketball players. But if you have it you have it. I've never seen him play though just met him briefly at some football games, could tell immediately he was a basketball player.
