How many is Macon got dressed out?

If I had to guess, it’s around 42. About the same as we’ve had over the past few years. Haven’t really went down or up in numbers. Even though that seems low for 4A, those 42 guys give effort all around which I would rather have over 70 plus with only a few that give there all.

The two twins should see some playing them this fall. They’ll be fun to watch the next four years.

What time is scrimmage today? Cookeville or at Tech?

It will be held at Cookeville High School. The scrimmage is at 6:30. Looking for the Tigers to be battled tested and Rhea might be the best team we see all year long unless the Tigers make a deep playoff run.

Second best team. White Co( very improved) and Rhea  scrimmaged with Rhea being slightly better. White Co was dominated in first scrimmage. Just saying

That’s very true that’s why I said might be the best. I’d still probably take Upperman over Rhea most days

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
