I normally do not start a lot threads, but this season I’m going to start a few.  I figured someone else from the Cyclones or the Toppers would have already started a thread for this game?  Maybe I’m a little early in starting this one but I am looking forward to getting this season started and there’s a lot of great match ups the 1st week.  And yes I am a GreenEville fan, South GreenE fan & Just like most of you I enjoy following north east TN, east TN, and a lot of other HS football teams throughout our great & beautiful State Tennessee.  I 2 am looking forward to this season so let’s get this party started. We’re about 3 wks away from kickoff.   Let’s hear it from you fans on Coach T your thoughts on this game.  Cyclones the defending 4a 2x State champs and the Hill Toppers should be solid with returning a lot of seniors on their roster for the 2021 season.  Who wins and why do you think they’ll win?  Who’s the play makers returning?  & Does anyone know if wcyb channel 5 is going to televise this on the Friday night rivals?

No Cyclones fans or Toppers fans on CT anymore???  How’s this game going to turn out?  Right now the cyclones are the team to beat. To be the man you got to beat the man. The Last two season the Cyclones have owned the toppers.  Will it be the same outcome this season?

I’ve rarely ever seen any SH people of here. On the Betsy side there will be a lot of new faces on the field. It will be kind of a flip flop from this game last season where SH was breaking in new kids.

Witten & staff seem to get the most out their kids though. Good coaching staff.  Should be a good game.

I read in the JC Press a couple a weeks ago that several very good athletes from the state championship baseball team are playing football this year. Coach Carter stated they are bringing a big time positive attitude with them. I’ll wait and see if it translates to the FB field.

EHS will show up and play like they do every year. I feel we still have enough to take then out for a 3rd straight time but it will be considerably tougher than last year.

I heard West Ridge gave Betsy a real tough time in their scrimmage on Thursday. 28-7 Betsy apparently had a hard time moving the football, but didn’t run their QB at all. So take that with a grain of salt

Just read where the game has been moved to ETSU. The Toppers new turf won’t be quite ready. Still a home game for the Hill and Topper season tickets will be honored.

Scrimmage. Lots of stuff coach Witten held back. Our line play was what we really needed to focus on and no real need to use Rollins at 100 since we know what we got with him. West ridge has some good potential of they can piece it all together.
