It is interesting that Michael Fisher was the unanimous choice by the D2 AAA coaches as MVP of the league. They voted after the Mr. Football awards. The one's that know (the coaches) know who should've won Mr. Football. Also, I am tired of hearing that Ryan Moore played every down. He played very few snaps on D agaisnt MUS and played one snap on D vs MBA. Not exactly every down.

So? How many defensive snaps did Fisher get? How many punts did he have? How many field goals did he kick? This arguement is going no where. The long and short of it is that Ryan won the award. If you have an issue with that, talk to the Nashville area sportswriters, who obviously didn't turn in their votes or something because I'm certain there are more voters in Nashville than Chattanooga. By the way, where did you see that about Fisher being the Super Seven MVP? I didn't know they'd released that team yet...

Fisher should have won w/o any exceptions...so what if Ryan got some snaps on D and had a sack...I played all D the whole year but I scored 1 td, so I guess I am just an all around player now?...like Ryan?...Played against both of these guys...Fisher is far better and I think a more athletic quarterback....why is everyone talking about kicking anyways?...who gives a flip whether you can kick a field goal or not.

welp at least it pleases me to know that fisher would much rather have a rig on his finger than that plaque sittin on his table.ithink that the award is overrated, and fisher got all he wanted out of this year anyway....congrats fishman and the rest of my teammates once again, and congrats to moore, i guess they saw something in you that fisher didn't have, although i have no clue what that is.

    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
