Better defensively than offensively. Run first team if they can. If stopped or slowed aren't afraid to sling it. They had 4 lineman out vs Rockwood so whatever video you have of them may not do it justice. Sweetwater was able to run up the gut of Rockwood for 5-7 yards a game all evening from my understanding.

What was yalls final?  38-8?  Yall only beat bledsoe 1-0 so bledsoe ought to win by at least 4tds?  :roflol:

I promise you Bledsoe won’t beat anybody by 70. With everything going on, I hope they take it day by day and get us to Friday night. I’ll Just be glad to be able to watch a home game and hopefully hear Smoky and the Bandit a few times Friday night.

Sweetwater isn't a bad team. Can be a handful if all are healthy. That being said you should be able to handle them I'm sure. Good luck I hope we all get to play a game this week sigh.

Sweetwater told us we were lucky we didn't play them last Friday? I didn't know they improved that much? Are we lucky that we played a decent 5A Daniel Boone team instead of Sweetwater? Yeti, I know u can tell.

They pretty much told us the same thing. Alot of banter from the Sweetwater side took place and our kids were just told to respond by putting up points basically. I'm sure you will beat them about like we did. They shouldn't challenge you too much. Compared to Sweetwaters team last year they aren't as good offensively but some better defensively. You would run away with it.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
