Franklin County at Giles Co

Last time these two play played was at Franklin co and Giles left with a loss.. Not sure what FC has but Giles 3-0 has had two good showings against Lincoln Co and Nolensville and a forfeit win vs Grundy Co. Looking forward to Friday and welcoming the Franklin co folks to the Brickyard ! Go Bobcats !!!

Saw where GC is ranked and doing well. Who are their playmakers? Same coaching staff from a decade ago?

Franklin County is bad and I believe they are going to be that way for a while. At least until they get rid of or control parent politics.

Control parent politics is not the problem at FC. The problem is the lack of competence, organization, preparation and development on behalf of the coaching staff. Every game is the same, kids look lost, cant get the play in on time, wasted timeouts, 12 men on the field, just a short list which points directly to coaching. Period.

Yes I believe  we are ranked 4th in the state , we have several players on both sides of the ball , and yes some of the same staff with a couple new coaches . Go Bobcats !!!!!

Parent politics isn't the issue at FC. They have the good ol' boy system that's been in place for a while with the former AD. They have a new AD now that doesn't have family ties and isn't best friends with the current coach's grandfather. It's well know that Cunningham was hired based on his relatives. He had ZERO head coaching experience. He is NOT a 5A caliber coach. As with previous comments, there is a major lack of organization and leadership. Same mistakes every week and no indication of it changing. Probably a 3-7 season with one of those being a Covid W.

I believe you are correct. I don't think it will take much more for this to all come to a head. Just way too much talent there to play this badly.

They had McCurry and he is/was a good coach. That was a messed up deal in Marshall Co. where they had two head coaches. He didn’t do himself in favors in Marion Co but I would have figured he would have done well there.

you were close 36-18 final Giles Co
