Congrats to clay county. No excuses. Cornersville could not get going offensively and defense did not look like it did the first three weeks. Missing a few key players but should not have made that kind of difference.

Clay was missing key players as well. Starting QB, RB, CB, and OLB. Next man up. No excuses like you said. Best of luck to both teams. Cornersville is a heck of an atmosphere.

Physicality at the line of scrimmage is arguably Clay's weakest part of their game. It definitely does not bode well for Cornersville if Clay's weakest area dominated them at their strongest area. However, Clay County can't celebrate this win too much, as one of the only two games that matter looms next week at Jo Byrns. That is a must win if they want to capture the region title.
