Yeah, got one intercepted in the end zone. Also got stopped on fourth down twice by Ripley D, once at 1 yard line going in to score.

Pretty surprising score to say the least. A win is still a win though. You never know in these rivalry games do ya?

Lotta respect for how Ripley came to play tonight. Their D controlled our offense better than anybody has this season.

Eumorrion Flowers really hurt Haywood last year.  With Haywood keying on Dowell and Hayes,  Flowers rushed for 124 yards on 31 carries.  He was listed as a Junior last year, is he playing for the Chargers this year?

They might be better than you gave them credit for. I think we were all shocked by the final score. I was under the impression Ripley had a good RB based on earlier posts. Did he not have any room to run the other night or what?

Covington had to many mistakes in this game. I’m sure Kirby will get the boys together. Ripley played a great game. I see them coming second in the region behind Covington. I’m sure the Chargers will see them again in the playoffs.
