Yep, it was only Springfield’s second win over Henry County in twelve meetings with this being the first win since 1980. We won in spite of some guys in striped shirts. They were beyond biased. Winning in Paris made it even better. Oddly the train whistle and siren were silent toward the end of the game.

Those tough wins on the road in a hostile environment will really help a team come playoff time. Builds a lot of confidence in a team. From the looks of the score , must have been a defensive war?

Pretty much was. We had a missed XP that we thought would come back to bite us. We stopped Henry Co on 4th and short at the 4 on their second drive. They never got inside the 10 again.
