Knox Carter vs AC Thursday Night Rivalry

Let's see if I've got the box score correct. Pick 6, INT inside their own 20 (TD 2 plays later), Failed 4th down at their own 30 (TD a few plays later), Scoop and score. And AC finally finishes a drive to make it 35-0.

With Martinez out, you couldn't draw it up any better if you are AC, but man this has been ugly.

And it looks like the freshman is decent enough on the throw to make teams respect it.

Yeah this is UGLY. Need to get some Offense rolling. GREAT DEFENSE! Keep it going. Give Mavs a break more time to get this offense rolling. But with a Defense like this who needs an offense...and if anything can go wrong for Carter it has and I expect it will get even worse once the Mavs Offense gets going. Like see Mavs air it out once we know game is in bag just to get some practice.

Mav's will have to find a passing game to be able to compete in the play off's. I hope to see that in the 2nd half too because your not beating Betsy and for sure not coming even close to Greeneville with what i've watched in the first half.  It's showing Carter hasn't played anyone so far this year

Mavs just need get that passing attack going better; deep pass secondary has to do better but in my opinion the defense pass rush really made the difference making tonights win look big by keeping Carter honest.

Yeah we will. You are correct swipes. I think each week our front defensive line is really improving and thats a good thing especially on pass rush however our secondary really needs some work. I will say from my prospective, that some teams can really make you look bad like tonight with Carter. Mavs want this Region win first and I could tell they want to keep as many as we can healthy especially since QB is out so I am not reading too much in this game. I think they are saving as much as they can for the playoffs offensively and healthy. With Gibbs and Scott Co. We will have to play but I think we have the much better team so we should get a lot of practice in come playoffs.

Have to say there were serious execution errors in that first quarter.  Both on the sideline and the field.  Carter never gave themselves a chance.

Yep Noonesfool at least we will know what to expect. Big play for Besty deep sideline bomb...that is for sure...we have to stop that!!!
