But if the kid was doing it intentionally and had succeeded it getting it in the LS eyes and/or messing up the snap, would that be a fair way to influence the outcome of the game? I don’t like to see penalties help decide things either but if the kid was doing it on purpose then he deserved the flag. I don’t think it would be right to not call something that should be called simply because it may impact the outcome. According to our center/LS, Bearden got away with this more than once before being called .

I agree. Officials give kids warnings all the time (often for gestures or select verbiage), and if they are caught doing it again, they're going to get penalized for it. If that's what happened in this case, or if someone from Farragut had alerted the officials to this previously, I don't have a problem with that call.
