Not saying he is a kid.  I'm just saying that coaching where you went to high school at an early age is a tough thing... and it may be hard for him to get seen as a coach instead of the player he was at that school.  I'm very surprised he wasn't an assistant coach for a few years to learn the profession. 

Again, I hope he finds success, and wish him and the Catholic program the very best. Big boots to fill!

I see your point but if you knew Coach Hutchens, he will never take away anything from his players.  He won't mention it again this season and he wouldn't want a farewell tour.  I guess he thought get

Luke Smith. Graduated in 2017 from KCHS. Which makes him like 23 or 24 years old? Big job for a young guy, good luck to him and Irish basketball.
