Here’s the real question. Does either team have a snowballs chance to beat either Elizabethton or Greeneville? I’ll be at the quarter final and championship game to see if Region 1 and the East in general can win that gold ball again. People are saying the winner in Quad 2 is just a tuneup for Quad 1 before they face the ordained runner up from the West. There is a serious lack of respect there. Does that bother anyone?

Probably truth. Elizabeth and Green are good. Probably could win 5a championship.

The good news for Upperman, a lot of our best players are sophomores and juniors so we could be real competitive the next few years as well

Yes soph and Jr's. And the best 8th grader in a long time coming up. Future is bright.

QB will be a huge question mark but our backup qb is a sophomore. He played well when he got in. I’m hoping he turns into a passing qb. We will be full of running backs for the next few years. Clayton Harris is a sophomore and he had a great year. If he gets bigger, stronger, faster we could be looking at the biggest defensive threat Upperman has ever had

Upperman's only loss is to Fayetteville in a tight game 19-14. Weeks later Fayetteville played Red Bank. Red Bank won 28-0.

I know teams improve over the season and teams can matchup differently,  but the scores based on this common opponent and playing at Red Bank is way I am slightly leaning toward a Red Bank win?

Fayetteville didn't have their starting tailback and 2 of their best offensive lineman for the Red Bank game. I usually don't like to blame a game on the refs but thatgame at Fayetteville was one big screw job big time.

True about Harris. Look for the athletic 8th grader to play db/wr his first few years. 2 of the three dlinman return. The soph qb is a greater passer and decent athlete. Third string rb that's a freshman will turn heads next season. Also a fresh DL will turn heads next season.
