Game last night went into 3- OT's with Tyner finally winning 85-79. It was back and forth the entire game!

I asked the question on another third, how good was Tyner this year, I guess pretty good. I think there will be some good games in the region tournament this year. Meigs has a good team this year, they played a really good Fulton team last night and lost in a close one. I saw where McMinn Center beat McMinn County last night and Sweetwater has a solid team as well.

The flu bug has hit the Cherokees pretty hard. Not taking away from McMinn Central's win, but they beat a sick, depleted McMinn County team.

I agree, @Dadof2..our Region will be interesting. TSSAA doesn't have the location posted yet. Any idea where it will be??

I was told the district 3 and region tournament was at Meigs this year not sure if that’s correct or not.

Who was missing? Sounds like an excuse Blitz.....Bench looked pretty full from the upper-deck. Rotated plenty of guys through-out the game....McMinn did not shoot the ball very well at all....#32 for McMinn is a monster...Central really had no answer for him in the paint.....

That’s hilarious. Their whole team played. They had one freshman out due to illness.

I wasn't there and was only passing on information given to me. I knew they had some sickness from their previous game and assumed it to be valid information. Great win by the Chargers regardless.

Howard has surprised everyone this year.  They Graduated 4 really good seniors and lost their best junior in Fisher due to transfer.... I would still like to know why he did that.  This team was supposed to be bad but suprisingly they are good.  The district they are in is very solid.  I do expect cleveland to pick up some steam and push for the crown....

@t-mac you are right...Howard does have a very good team. Don't know what happened to them last night against Notre Dame but I was expecting a better game. The Coach pulled the starters after the 3rd quarter. They should do well in AAA.
