Funny how that happens isn’t it? It should be even fuller if not for COVID. No way that girls team loses. They had the best team down there in all classifications.

The 2020 team was the best girls team I ever saw in 30+ years of watching HS Basketball. 1995 Clarkrange and 2000 Jackson Co. are close. Legitimately in 2013 they were the best Public School in the state and lost to CPA on a buzzer beater. 2018 they lost to a better team but it hurts more each year. And the one Gold ball they won they were not even the best team in their district maybe even not even 3rd best, go figure.

The boys team has twice been eliminated by the eventual State champion. Double OT loss to Obion and a substate loss to MLK.

The talent and coaching is there but it’s never seemed to work out for the boys team.

Just seen that the coach is resigning. Wonder who is next in line?
