MTP will win but it’ll be over by the 3rd quarter. They haven’t played a good team yet but they handled business like good teams are suppose to. Cascade has shown they are truly average after the first two weeks

Right now I predict that MTP blows them out early. This is a physical mismatch. 42-13 final. Cascade specializes in garbage scores.

Cascade vs. Mt. Pleasant Recap

Cascade dominated field position & time of possession in the first half. Offense was less predictable & more balanced.

2nd half, the Cascade play-calling reverted back to the conservative, milk-the clock, 2yds up the middle bs--the problem is that you cannot milk the clock if you can't get a first-down.

MP has elite speed & by keeping their offense on the field, they eventually hit on two big TD passes & one sustained drive-all in the 3rd qt.

Cascade dominated field position and threatened in the red zone on several 4th qt drives but was stuffed on 4th down each time...

Stinks for the players-the coaches offensive play-calling in the 2nd half lost this one...

Thanks for the updates and recap.  For a half it seemed like Mt Pleasant was going to Mt. Pleasant. Not sure what conclusions can be drawn from the result. it was a close game last year decided in the 4th quarter.  Last season Cascade was 3-0 headed to a 3rd seed and MTP was 1-2 headed to last place in region after week 3 - now they've switched.

Careful Coach Leroy Brown doesn't like any negative comments about coaching. It's always the players fault when a team loses. I'm surprised he hadn't already called you a moron on here. Maybe he's been on the Watertown thread correcting their posters, I'll go check.
