What are his statistics this year? I know he had a good year last year. How does he compare to other 5A players that are contenders for Mr. Football?

He carries the ball 30-40 times a game. He Has around 1500 yards if I had to guess right now. It’ll be hard for other backs to catch up.

144 carries for like 1595 I think 24 rushing t d 11.1 a carry on 144 attempts so like almost 29 attempts a game basically!

Have to think it'll be Dowell versus the field. Desean Bishop is probably in the conversation, but I don't even think he's a close 2nd right now. Dowell is averaging over 310 yards per game (11+ yards per carry, 24 TDs), while Bishop is at about 200 yards per game (6+ yards per carry, 17 TDs).

These stats could be a lot higher if he had not been pulled from the games early due to Springfield being up on their opponents.
