If Meigs loses to Tyner and beats Marion  that would put Meigs, Marion & Bledsoe in a tie for second place. How do they determine the seeding?

In your scenario,  Tyner is region winner at 5-0.

Head to head, Meigs presumably over Jasper, Jasper has beaten Bledsoe, Bledsoe has beaten Meigs.

All 3 will finish 3-2.

Meigs would have the most wins overall (7) therefore get the 2 seed.

Head to head Jasper has beaten Bledsoe & will get the 3 seed.

Bledsoe gets the 4 seed.

Bledsoe has a chance to finish 7-3 as well. So, Bledsoe as 2 seed. Meigs as 3. Marion as 4.

Meigs being the number 2 seed is determined by Monterey beating Bledsoe and Meigs beating Marion. For Meigs, beating Tyner isn't likely but it could happen if they have a bad game and we just have a really good one. We at Meigs just hope to be able to compete with Tyner as good as they are. I believe Meigs will beat Marion last game of the season. Marion's game vs Signal will tell alot next week as Signals overall record does not show how good of a team they actually are.

Very well could be the case.

If it goes how you say and Meigs gets 3rd seed we will likely play East Robertson at their place. And if so you will likely get H20 at home I think.

Good luck.

Still scenarios out there.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
