Mustangs coming to Trenton

Can't wait till Friday.  Thunder vs lightning.  If Peabody continues to run a balanced offense, I see the Tide winning by 2 scores. The mustangs hit us in the mouth last year and we have been waiting a long time for this rematch.  Should be a great game with past history vs present history.  I mean Peabody has the best program in West Tn over the last 8 years.  Yes Huntingdon beat us last year cause they outplayed us.  But the loss sure lifted the pressure off of those young men. 2nd longest winning streak in America.  No pressure this year.  And by  no means am I using that as an excuse as to why we lost last year. Roll Golden Tide.  Go Vols.

Just don't let the Peabody receivers run free and Huntingdon wins.

The difference between this years Peabody team and teams from the past is pretty simple. How do you stop the receivers from running free? If you play a Nickle defense then they will run it right at you with the same o-line that they had last year, but if you load the box then they will throw it all over the field on you. It is pick your poison. Very difficult to stop.

Well that's an easy explanation there hoss. You make them run it at you because they're nowhere near as good as it as last year. Huntingdon can stop Peabody on the ground.

Because so many teams have stopped our running attack when we have had an actually quarterback at the helm. If you have watched our games, teams will stack the box because these coaches that are actually getting paid know that our o-line can dominate at any point. So our coaching staff makes the adjustment and throws the ball all over the field. It is  the same kids on the o-line except for the younger Meadows and a different running back who is coming along real well.

Idc if it's the same o line lol they're not as good as they were last year. And what I'm saying is Huntingdon likely won't need to stack the box to stop your run game. Just my opinion.

I am definitely not Tide 21, two different people. Please answer my question, who has stopped our run game this year?  Milan didn’t week 1 and they knew we had to run every play. Instead they chose to do the squib kicks to not give our offense the ball in the 4th quarter. Our offense has evolved and it a lot more dynamic. Again who has stopped our running attack this year? Or for that matter who stopped it last year with the same o-line? You can say they are not as good, that it your opinion, but each one of those kids has evolved and is a lot better player than they were last year. Each team we are playing are showing us different types of blitzes that are not usually seen in high school football but as a whole they are picking them up wonderfully. Three of the five already have college offers so they must be pretty good. With another most likely playing baseball at the next level. Think what you want but again facts are facts.

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights
    • The gustatory amalgamation of succulent pork chops juxtaposed with verdant greens indeed evokes a sensory delight. Clint's narrative, imbued with the ethos of resilience, navigated the tumultuous waters of the 1980s with commendable fortitude. As for the prospective successor to the coaching helm, the mention of esteemed mentor Nick Saban's absence prompts a discerning hesitation towards alternative candidates, for excellence is the sole criterion deemed worthy of emulation.  Pray, may I inquire as to your esteemed identity? Are you perchance a luminary within the domain of coaching, endowed with unparalleled wisdom and insight?
