Campbell County visits Sevier County

I figured since I was drilling and hit a nerve why stop there so let's chat about this weeks game. Can the Bears stop the passing attack of the Cougars this week? Can the Cougars stop the Bears qb from running all over the place? If the Bears lose will Dolly open up her purse? She reads this you know.

No, the Bears cannot stop the passing attack.  Not sure about Cougs stopping running qb, but if he can't throw it some, it's not too difficult even to stop a good runner if they are one dimensional.  I say Cougs by a few trickles.

To bad it isn't at Campbell County, they have a great fireworks show when they score a touchdown. The first time I seen it I though wow, so that's what a meth house explosion looks like but it was just fireworks.

Last time I was up there, the fireworks show was less than impressive. They had about 6 necks with imitation bic lighters they got at Git-n-go and they had basic black cat bottle rockets.  When CC scored, the necks would head out to semi strategic locations around the field and try to light the bottle rockets, but the wind was bad that night and they really struggled to get any launched.  It was absolute comedy.  Definitely worth the price of admission.  OR will be up there a week from Friday though, and I will give you an update on the state of the fireworks show.

Two good teams?  One of them is pretty decent.

The OC at SCHS will shine this week. 200 yards passing+and over 400 yards of total offense,but unfortunately that will be on Madden I’ll take CC on the not so unexpected upset.

CC by couple TDS.  I can’t see SC scoring enough points to match CC.  SC offense one dimensional.   Having their best player back would be helpful.

I would love to say Sevier County as I want all the county teams winning and to be good but I think CC will win it by at-least 14. The passing scheme needs simplified with check downs and such, rather than expecting a mobile qb to be chucking it down the field. Missing that middle lb/rb is huge and will be a key to the loss for SC.
