One thing that always pops out to me, is the schools that are competitive in a larger class, and then their enrollment drops to lower their classification.  Many times, those teams are hard to beat in their new class.  White County and Station Camp come to mind when thinking about that situation. Agreed, also add Dyer County too

P.S. Can we please stop talking about Alcoa playing up, they have no reason to do so.  Why move when you are winning?  Players and coaches work too hard to not have the absolute best shot at winning. They are boring and stale in their current class and are scared to move up, they have every reason to move up, until then, they will be unproven, they wouldnt win a Gold Ball in 4A, Alcoa in 3A is stale and Boring and has ran its course

White County, Station Camp and Dyer County going from 5A to 4A are absolutely huge gets for 4A thats for sure!

Those 3 will be part of the 4A Frontrunners for sure

Also if Dyer County gets put in Haywood's region 7 (Like we think they will) then Haywood's string of Region Titles are in serious Jeopardy!

White County and Station Camp are threats to win whatever regions they get put in.

Marshall County should have moved up to 5A. How can you build a strong program when gate $$ will be nothing. An hour and a half drive to the nearest team does not make sense. I would rather get a loss a couple times a year and play better competition.

Marshall County would get eaten alive in 5A at this moment, they need to grow at 4A still, win a 4A Gold Ball First or something

Because if Marshall County were to go to 5A now theyd get eaten alive and miss the playoffs, theyd be lucky to win even 1-3 games

Marshall County needs to stay right here in 4A, gives them a chance to win a 4A Gold Ball

I do not see MC getting whipped up on in 5A. We beat Columbia & Shelbyville almost every year. Lawrence Co. and Tullahoma has moved up and we can win those games. Lincoln County & Spring Hill would not be an issue either. The gate $ would be a lot better wither closer teams.

As a Pc fan I approve this message.

just because they are struggling this year does not mean they will next year it happens to everyone, marshall county would struggle in 5A off the bat just like we did, im telling yall, we werent ready for 5A yet and it showed, Marshall County is not ready for that 5A Gauntlet yet, win a 4A gold ball then we will talk about them moving up to 5A

Another interesting thing is the fact that the TSSAA is setting the Region schedules for EVERYBODY!!!  Apparently, everyone was allowed to submit a bye week request.  They also submitted Rivalry games that may take place on a specific date.  First game of the year, last game of the year, Third Saturday in October, and situations like that.  So that makes it really difficult for teams to try and schedule non-region games before November 21.

Week 1 and 2 have to be Non-Region

Week 3-11 have to be when all your Region games take place.

Week 11 has to be a region game unless you have a small region then you can play a non-region game

Half the classifications will be play on thursday week 11 and half will play on Friday then it will flip the following year

You can have non-region game week 3-11 if you have a small region. etc... And yeah you have to submit your off week also.
