Can you be more specific. I do not disagree but I was curious what exactly you saw or didn't see for that matter.

I came to that conclusion against rockwood when they quit in the 4th.  Teams that are well coached don't normally make that many mistakes this late in the season.  There seems to be a disconnection there.

Do you have any insights on the situation? I’ve been pretty open with my opinions but always curious what others think. We should be a lot better than we are.

I think we probably agree on most to be honest. Last year they were physical. They absolutely manhandled South Greene, who was the #1 seed. On both sides of the ball. Absolute domination in the trenches. This year they are soft. I don't understand exactly why. I think half is coaching (no OL/DL), and the other half is attitude. They play finesse now which as you know is not what Oneida is and not what TL built.

They have like 15 starting seniors. Athletic QB, athletic skill guys. Any team would love to have all that. But for some reason it doesn't translate.

They lack toughness. Kids miss practice all the time, games all the time...over the most minor bumps and bruises.

Offense is very predictable. Rockwood was calling out plays before they happened. They just weren't disciplined enough on defense to stop it, lol.

Lastly, there is no accountability. And that starts at the top. And IMO, that's their biggest problem.

Fumblin  on the 1 driving to take the lead ended our season

They would have ended up losing anyway I think. The only thing stopping Rockwood's offense that night was dumb play calls and penalties. Oneida certainly wasn't. Don't forget, RW scored twice after that and could've added a third late if they wanted to. Oneida could barely complete a pass after that.

Yes I agree but that fumble was the complete turnin poinT in that game and pretty much the season.

A good coach will never let a team just quit.  I don't know the guys at Oneida but their body of work says they need to do better.  I'm tickled to have Zac.  Our boys have seen some tough times this year but they have a great attitude.
