Just call him and ask him.  What would he have to say different for.  I know the dude well, probably as well as anyone.  I think this is so funny that you are trying to attack a mans character with all hearsay.  Shoot I will call central office and ask them.  Its no problem.  I have a pretty good in there as well.

How am I attacking anyone's character when it's been made blatantly obvious to those that were close enough to a situation and witnessed it play out the way that it did? It ain't gossip when you see it, hear it, and fact check it by asking supposed relationships/connections. Should I apologize for giving a crap about the community and the kids in it? Me finding humor in Vestal applying at Sweetwater isn't me coming for him. He has no reason to be loyal to Sequoyah other than the fact that he took a job to become the leader of that program. He is free to do as he pleases. Just as we all do, coming under scrutiny is just a potential byproduct of that. Everyone on this message board is free to scroll right on past anything I put on here, but I will speak to what I know and believe to be true, same as you. You chose to reply to one of my messages, that was your choice. If I'm wrong, so be it, but I can make presumptions based on the evidence I have been given and carry zero guilt because I've done my homework. I don't give a darn if Vestal goes, or if he stays, it makes no difference to me. At the end of the day, the kids are the ones who are being done a disservice, and that falls on more than just whoever the head coach at good ole Sequoyah happens to be.

      Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!

      Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.

      Florida tried urban/rural split two years ago. 4 urban classes, 4 rural classes. Didn’t work. Next year they will have 7 regular classes, 1 urban class for small schools only.
