Who are some of the best catchers in Middle Tennessee?

I too, agree that the high school softball coverage by the local media (newspaper & tv) is very poor, doesn't sell papers.

Maybe the Tennessean will step it up a little as they did with football and basketball.

Susan Davis from Columbia, only an eighth grader, could have started at the high school last year. Behind or beside the plate she is an intense an effective player. She has only begun to shine.

One catcher to look out for is nikki birdsell out of white house, tenn. Had 14 throw outs in one tourmant and caught 7 games in a day and half. batted about 480 for the week end. Is this average for a 13 year old. Another to look for is kelley louden at hendersonville high school [a jr]. has a very high on base average, hitts junk ball very well. so just watch for whats comming. o yes kelley has one of the best attiudes and work ethics that is a coaches dream.
