FINAL 27-20 TCA.  #8 with over 140 yards receiving. #1had 186 yards of punishment. Solid win in front of a great crowd.

I thought it was a great game! Need to mention that TCA was down 13-0 in 1st quarter! They seemed to play very disciplined ball! Chester Co's #7 was a beast!! TCA's #1 definitely earned his yards last night!! Great running!!

Good luck. CA will be a much improved team. It’s a game of interest for sure. I think CA was picked by one of the websites to be 3rd in the middle region this year? Their RB is as dangerous as anyone in D2A so best of luck.

Well it was a barn burner to the end! Teams were evenly matched across the board. Missing our starting FB / LB hurt. Both these teams are set for a good season and could likely see each other again in November.

I watched the game on NFHS and it was a good one. Congrats on the win. We have a big one this week against the defending state champs Friendship Christian so it should be exciting to watch. FCS is well coached, big, physical and talented.

Congrats to CPA on a big win. The marketing to play this game on Saturday was well thought out . Coach McIntyre grandson is going be special as predicted. I do wish CPA had moved up with Lipscomb to play the DIVII AAA, they obviously can compete at that level . The DIVII AA games will likely not challenge them like the AAA schedule would have this season . Good luck to both teams rest of year.

    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
