biggest
These are numbers off top of my head so they will vary a little, but I believe I'm close. Over last 8 or so years Gordonsville has only scored 55-60 points total! Avg of around 6.5 pts a game. Unless I'm missing a year or something I believe this is close. Some fact Check me I don't have time... Edited August 24, 2023 by biggest

MartyHuggins
2015 - 28-12 WHS 2016 - 41-15 WHS 2017 - 20-0 WHS 2018 - 48-8 WHS 2019 - 19-13 WHS 2020 - 14-7 WHS 2021 - 9-16 GHS 2022 - 28-13 WHS 2023 - 17- 6 WHS Is this series even a rivalry anymore? The most points G-Ville has scored on WHS the last 8 years is 16 points and I am pretty sure 7 of those points came from the punter dropping a snap in the endzone. Some things never change and they will not change Friday. Watertown - 17 Gordonsville/Carthage - 6.

There is so much confusion with the names I never know what to call each school/town so I just refer to everyone in Smith County as Carthage. Every one over there is basically the same. Then again, this is probably the best passing offense maybe ever for Gordonsville. On the games I watch on TV the good passing teams beat the good running teams Gordonsville 28-21 That's interesting KC had less passing yards and more rushing yards than the Eagles. Who won? If it's not a rivalry, then why all the talk of Hackett seemingly putting more prep in for this week? As far as some things never changing, actually they have. Gville had owned this rivalry for 30 years until H2O built the new school and went up in enrollment. Regardless, it's a good gate for both teams, and it will be a good game. I believe Gville wins. Idk if they can or not. I see this being a really close game.
