93 degrees at 7. U can add an extra 10 degrees on the turf. Just player safety. A lot of the games have been. Just makes sense really

Its 3 and the heat index is 104. I would say on the turf is probably 110. 
TSSAA heat policy states " 100-104 heat index there are mandatory water breaks every 30 minutes" Also states " if necessary for safety, suspend activity. "If its above 104 all outside activity practice or play will stop".  This would include any pregame warm ups. 

No way the heat index on the turn gets below 104 before 8.

I say we won't kick off until 8:30 or later....you have to give the teams time to go thru their pre-game activities.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if it’s not hotter than that? Those turf fields hold that heat in that’s for sure. Definitely not good for the Big Boys. Just stay safe, stay hydrated, and keep those old ref’s in mind as well. Yeah we played in this stuff back in the day. But the technology wasn’t there either. Haha I’ll watch this one from home. I listened and watched a little on the phone. The way that the radio was talking was how good the defense was? So basically we still don’t know? How was the health of both benches? Just wanting to get some info.

Right? But according to their fans the offense is garbage? I’m not trying to bash on the Cherokees. I feel the “D” needed a game like this to gain confidence. They shut them out in the second half? So good job to Cleveland. But I’ll definitely be keeping up with McMinn throughout? If I hadn’t have gone to Cleveland back in the day I’d defi had gone to McMinn. Fell in love with that field and stadium. Haha

That game was boring to be honest. McMinns slow pace was putting me to sleep. Would like for Cleveland to stop running the QB so much.

Mcminns lone TD was on a 60 yarder as the half expired. Cleveland let their guard down. Looks lik Cash Bandy got hurt pretty bad for cleveland I hope i wrong. but one of mcminns players hit him low and his knee buckled

Yeah it didn’t look good. Knew as soon he got hit he was going to be hurt. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

 

and that was the hottest football game I’ve ever been at lol
